PART 1:
The 55th Castle Cup will be held this Saturday August 13.
The Skippers’ Meeting will be held at 11:00 with a start on the water at noon.
Registration may be in advance, or at the Skippers' meeting.
It will be a slightly more organized race than recent years (ie: you will know approximately where the marks are before the race starts).
Sailboats and powerboats are invited to participate, scoring will be based on effort and attitude shown on the water.
Participating boats will receive a memento of the event.

PART 2:
Following the race, the bar will open at 1600. In remembrance of Jack Machold, there will be an informal celebration of his life and contributions to the yacht club.
A traditional club cookout will be served at 1700.
Menu:
Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Caesar salad, mac & cheese, Mexican street corn
Dessert: Brownies or cookies and ice cream
Price: Dinner is being provided by Amy and Dan. A donation to CYC would be appreciated, but not required.
Reservations required for club cookout and reservation due date is Thursday August 11, by 5:00 pm.
